Mermaid, I think a lot of people know about the story and see the picture or sculpture before. That's no strange to see that in beach and most the visitor will take photo with this sculpture. But that’s very rare to see that mermaid is holding the selfie stick, look like taking photo with the beautiful scene. Maybe next time can try to use different things to make it more dramatic and interesting.
